From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Are you dynamic, creative, caring and looking for an opportunity to positively impact upon patient care and patient experience on the Emergency Surgical Trauma Unit.

You will lead on developing a therapeutic activity programme within the ward environment, working closely with the nursing and therapy teams.
We are looking for a candidate who has excellent communication skills, experience of working with vulnerable groups of patients who will be innovative in creating and engaging a number of activities including the arts, music, reminiscence therapy and physical activities.

ESTU within the Surgical Directorate of Manchester Royal Infirmary will offer you support from an experienced team of senior nurses and educators. A personal development plan will be put in place to meet your ongoing development needs and we will provide a comprehensive induction programme.
