An exciting opportunity has arisen within the hospital Supportive & Palliative care team at Oxford Road Campus as a full time B7 clinical nurse specialist. Working in a team of Clinical Nurse Specialists and Palliative care consultants, you will be delivering highly skilled palliative care advice, support and monitoring to patients and their families. You will also encompass collaborative working with Macmillan organisation. You will be supported by an expert team in an environment where training and developing opportunities are actively encouraged in order to meet the clinical needs of the role/patient cohort and the Trust’s philosophies. The team operate a seven day service across the acute setting.

We offer a comprehensive induction programme and you will have appraisals on a regular basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate. The team have a highly rewarding but also emotionally demanding role. With development of your clinical leadership skills, you will need demonstrable ability to work in a highly demanding environment.
