From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Manchester Foundation Trust Community Learning Dias ability Team prides itself as one of the leading learning disability services in the country. Community services are transforming the way it delivers health and social care to learning disabled adults.You will part of a progressive and dynamic service.

We are seeking Band 3 administrative assistant to support the Central Adult Community Learning Disability Service. It is a busy progressive, multi-agency and interdisciplinary team that promotes and facilitates effective health care.

You will need experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team, within an office environment. You will require a knowledge of microsoft office systems and the ability to use different software and health care systems. You will need to be able to work flexibly and have excellent communication skills. Organisation and time management are key to this support role. You will be liaising with members of the public, families, and other professionals on a daily basis.

In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
