This exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior nurse to undertake this new key leadership role leading and managing the operational site management across the Manchester Royal Infirmary.
This is a new role and will work with the pathway coordinator teams, operational managers, nursing teams and clinicians across the site to ensure safe and effective site management aligned to the Trust Escalation Processes. The post holder will provide key leadership and management to ensure safe and effective deliver of patient pathways to maximise patient flow across the Manchester Royal Infirmary. The post holder will be responsible for leading safe, resilient and consistent operational site management and facilitate safe and effective discharge in line with the Trust Policies and Procedures and SAFER standards.
The post holder will work during the 6 months to develop recommendations and lead agreed changes to the site management processes/teams in order to ensure the delivery of safe high quality of care and to establish a resilient model for MRI site management.

The successful candidate will be pro-active, have a proven track record of operational delivery and improvement plus ensure that service needs and patient experience are met to the exceptional high standards we aspire to.
You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Divisional teams to ensure excellent patient experience across all pathways. You will have your own clear areas of responsibility and accountability and be expected to develop services, lead the patient flow and site services agenda in implementing both local and national initiatives. You will be an integral part of the senior nursing and management team and contribute fully to the strategic direction of the MRI.
You should be an experienced senior nurse with proven experience at a leadership level.
