At Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust we are proud that we care for our staff as much as our patients.
Central Manchester Foundation Trust is a leading integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus in the thriving city of Manchester. We offer a unique range of services to the North West, treating and managing the simplest to the most complex conditions and diseases. For our nurses, it means the chance to gain diverse experience in pioneering teams.
Due to expansion we have opportunities within Critical Care, with rotations in place between the 18 bed General Intensive Care Unit, 18 bed High Dependency Unit (on the Central site) and our 3 bed Critical Care Unit (on the Trafford site) and you will gain valuable experience in the care of patients with a wide range of needs including Haematology, Vascular Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Renal Medicine/Transplant and Head and Neck Surgery. Supported by a strong team of admin, support and management roles that form the backbone of our non-clinical infrastructure, you will deliver our values and nurse with pride, respect, empathy, consideration, compassion and dignity.
We’re committed to delivering a Nursing and Midwifery Service that delivers the best patient care. There for our patients, families and services users, the public and each other, we promise to communicate effectively by listening to and responding to comments and concerns. And, as we demonstrate effective leadership, we celebrate the achievement of team members.
We show our care for our staff through excellent development and progression opportunities. These start with a comprehensive induction programme, but don’t end there. We offer a respected preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses. Experienced nurses are encouraged to move across directorates to expand their skills. To enhance your skills in your speciality, we offer a range of internal and external courses.
So if you want a new start, there couldn’t be a better time to join us.
