Central Manchester Foundation Trust is a leading integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus in the thriving city of Manchester. We offer a unique range of services to the North West, treating and managing the simplest to the most complex conditions and diseases. For our nurses, it means the chance to gain diverse experience in pioneering teams.
The Urgent Care Centre at Trafford General can be visited for the treatment of a wide range of conditions from minor injuries and illnesses to suspected fractures and wounds. The Urgent Care Centre is open daily and is staffed by a highly skilled team of emergency nurses.
As a Staff Nurse you will work as a team with other staff members to ensure that the unit functions efficiently and continues to achieve the targets laid out in reforming emergency care.
You must be able to work well under pressure and respond effectively to challenging situations whilst also supporting other members of the nursing team. Ideally you will have a background in emergency care and have some experience as a qualified nurse.
In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will have an annual appraisal with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
