Whether you’re a Band 5 Student Nurse or already qualified and looking to return to the profession, Central Manchester Foundation Trust has just the job. That’s because, right now, we’re looking to recruit a number of nurses across our Endoscopy Unit.

Join us and you’ll have the opportunity to work in our state of the art unit which open in September 2017 making us one of the largest Endoscopy Departments in the North West. What’s more, we’ll be facilitating the latest and most current and complex procedures in our field, partnering with Trafford General Hospital in order to commence an Endoscopy Academy for both nurses and doctors, coupled with a satellite teaching facility.

With access to 8 procedure rooms across two sites, our procedures are varied and diverse and include diagnostics and major therapeutics, gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy , colonoscopy, bowel cancer screening, PEG insertion, bronchoscopy, double balloon enteroscopy, endoscopic ultrasound & ultrasound guided therapy, ERCP & spyglass/HALO radiofrequency ablation. What’s more, we also host the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme and Bowel Scope Service so they’re a real range of specialisms to develop your skills and experience.

To succeed, you’ll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development. With recent acute NHS experience as a must, we’ll train you in our endoscopy services and along the way, you’ll be supported by in-house endoscopy educators with access to some of most sought after bespoke courses to progress your knowledge and experience in this field.

In return for your skills, enthusiasm and commitment, you can expect some truly excellent development and progression opportunities and a comprehensive induction programme. You’ll also be part of a fantastic and dedicated team that supports each other and operates with consideration and dignity at all times.

It really is a great chance to join a go-ahead Trust that has an integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus with state-of-the-art facilities right in the heart of Manchester. As well as offering a diverse range of services to over a million patients a year, our specialist hospitals have a real community feel and are home to hundreds of world-class clinicians and academic staff.

So, if you’re ready to make your next move your most exciting one yet, get in touch today, because we believe that you really can shine brighter at CMFT.
