An excellent opportunity has arisen at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital for a confident, compassionate and clinically credible Specialist Practitioner.

The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is a specialist comprehensive care centre for haemophilia and related disorders. We are one of the largest paediatric centres in the country and one of the largest paediatric hospitals in Europe.

You will provide specialist expertise, advice and education both within the hospital setting and community and work closely with the senior nursing and multidisciplinary team to deliver high standards of care and ensure effective communication with all professionals involved throughout the treatment pathway.The role is to coordinate the nursing care of individuals and families affected by haematological disorders including emergency admissions,nurse led outpatient care and elective treatment and to undertake the nursing lead in coordination of care for patients undergoing blood transfusions.

You will have an RSCN/RN Child with a post-registration qualification and relevant experience in the specialty. You will be team-orientated and also able to work autonomously, you will have excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to the advancement of practice in this field.
