Whether you’re a Band 5 Student Nurse or already qualified and looking to return to the profession, Central Manchester Foundation Trust has just the job. That’s because, right now, we’re looking to recruit a number of nurses in our Cardiac Catheter Lab/Recovery Centre.

This state of the art unit within our Heart Centre is instrumental in diagnosing and treating heart problems along with monitoring patients undergoing cardiology treatment – both pre and post-operative. What’s more, you’ll also get the opportunity of caring for those that require lifesaving interventions along with those who require critical tests and procedures including ablation, angiogram, angioplasty and implantation of pacemakers - literally putting the heart into the hearts of our patients.

Our Catheter Lab and Recovery Unit has always pushed boundaries and delivered pioneering ground-breaking procedures, encouraging CMFT to lead the way in patient care and we’re not stopping now! That’s why we need nurses like you to take us one step further and help us to shine even brighter.

To succeed, you’ll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.

Along the way, you’ll be supported by in-house Educational Practitioners and strong nurse leaders who will equip you with the support and guidance you need to nurse with pride, respect, empathy, consideration, compassion and dignity.

In return for your skills, enthusiasm and commitment, you can expect some truly excellent development and progression opportunities and a comprehensive induction programme. You’ll also be part of a fantastic and dedicated team that supports each other and operates with consideration and dignity at all times.

It really is a great chance to join a go-ahead Trust that has an integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus with state-of-the-art facilities right in the heart of Manchester. As well as offering a diverse range of services to over a million patients a year, our specialist hospitals have a real community feel and are home to hundreds of world-class clinicians and academic staff.

So, if you’re ready to make your next move your most exciting one yet, get in touch today, because we believe that you really can shine brighter at CMFT.
