Whether you’re a Band 5 Student Nurse or already qualified and looking to return to the profession, Central Manchester Foundation Trust has just the job. That’s because, right now, we’re looking to recruit a number of nurses across our Acute Cardiac Centre.

Join us and you’ll have the opportunity to work in our well led emergency and 19 bedded unit, highly established and recognised as the region’s Heart Attack Centre, undertaking primary angioplasty. You’ll care with pride and consideration for our acutely ill patients putting the heart into all you do.
Our key focus is providing high quality, patient focused care; so much so we’ve earned the Trust's 'Gold Accreditation' status for the last 4 years. We’re also proud to have been awarded the Student Placement of the Year beating over 650 other clinical areas, demonstrating our commitment to those starting out in their nursing career, nurturing and developing their experience with some of Manchester’s most complex cardiac patients.
To succeed, you’ll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.

Along the way, you’ll be supported by in-house Educational Practitioners and strong nurse leaders who will equip you with the support and guidance you need to nurse with pride, respect, empathy, consideration, compassion and dignity.

In return for your skills, enthusiasm and commitment, you can expect some truly excellent development and progression opportunities and a comprehensive induction programme. You’ll also be part of a fantastic and dedicated team that supports each other and operates with consideration and dignity at all times.

It really is a great chance to join a go-ahead Trust that has an integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus with state-of-the-art facilities right in the heart of Manchester. As well as offering a diverse range of services to over a million patients a year, our specialist hospitals have a real community feel and are home to hundreds of world-class clinicians and academic staff.

So, if you’re ready to make your next move your most exciting one yet, get in touch today, because we believe that you really can shine brighter at CMFT.
