Ready for a new challenge? Fed up in your current role? Do you want to further your career and be part of a unique and dynamic team? Do you want to be part of developing and shaping our future service?
If the answer is yes, then we would like to hear from you.
Central Manchester Foundation Trust is a leading integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus in the thriving city of Manchester. We offer a unique range of services to the North West, treating and managing the simplest to the most complex conditions and diseases. For our nurses, it means the chance to gain diverse experience in pioneering teams.
We are seeking dedicated nurses to join our Ambulatory Care Unit based at MRI which is a new unit which opened in June 2016. The aim of the unit is to help prevent unnecessary admissions into an acute bed by treating the patient in a day case unit. The unit will also accommodate 10 to 13 A and E short stay beds where the aim is to discharge the patient within 24 hours.
We work really closely with our clinicians and the wider MDT and we believe that all goal focused visions improve patient outcomes. Each day is varied with new challenges and the team are motivated by wanting to improve, where all staff members count and have a voice in bringing about changes and improvements. The ward operates 24/7 and is supported by an experienced Ward Manager and each member of staff has a designated team leader.
We’re committed to delivering a Nursing and Midwifery Service that delivers the best patient care. There for our patients, families and services users, the public and each other, we promise to communicate effectively by listening to and responding to comments and concerns. And, as we demonstrate effective leadership, we celebrate the achievement of team members.
We show our care for our staff through excellent development and progression opportunities. These start with a comprehensive induction programme, but don’t end there. We offer a respected preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses. Experienced nurses are encouraged to move across directorates to expand their skills. To enhance your skills in your speciality, we offer a range of internal and external courses.
So if you want a new start, there couldn't be a better time to join us.
