Applications are invited for the above Clinical Fellow post. You will be working as a Clinical Fellow in Emergency Medicine at Manchester Royal Infirmary and the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. The post will be full-time, 40 hours per week, however less-than-full-time (LTFT) posts may be considered. The post may range from 6 months to 5 years.

Manchester Royal Infirmary is a major teaching hospital situated next to the campus of the Manchester Medical School and Manchester University. The two departments receive approximately 150,000 patients per anum. You will receive teaching each week on all aspects of Emergency Medicine through the Electronic Learning Environment. You will be encouraged to undertake audit and teach medical students. You will also spend some weeks doing Emergency Paediatrics at The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Although previous A&E experience is not essential, you must have 6 months UK hospital experience in an acute specialty.

Salary will be on the ST (fixed) pay scale which ranges from £31,217 to £41,300 per anum. 

Please note that this post does not have educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean, but training will be provided in the same way as for other trainees at the same level.
