The Acute medical unit is seeking enthusiastic Registered Nurses to undertake the role of Deputy Ward Manager.

We seek a dedicated, highly motivated individual to undertake this role.

The role is focused on the delivery of high quality acute medical care, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for the patient.

The key focus for this role is quality, patient safety and the patient experience.

The duties require you to demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to function well within a team environment. You will work as part of a highly motivated team dedicated to delivering high quality care.

Leadership skills are essential for this post and evidence of previously working within acute medicine as a band 6 is highly desirable.

Evidence of post-registered development is essential.

Knowledge of patient flow and working under pressure is also required.

This is an opportunity to enable you to extend your knowledge and skills with regards to management responsibilities.
