Specialist Rotational Acute Medical Physiotherapist (Band 6)

The Medical Therapy Team are looking for an enthusiastic forward thinking HCPC registered Physiotherapist to join our well-established team.

This Specialist Band 6 role offers rotations between the Acute Medical Unit and Specialist Medicine (Renal and Gastroenterology).

As the rotational Band 6 Physiotherapist you will be able to demonstrate recent experience working across a wide variety of clinical fields in particular within acute medicine.

The teams are led by highly specialist Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, supporting a wide skill mix of clinicians within the acute setting.  We promote close MDT working allowing a holistic approach to patient care, joint therapy working & service developments. 

The teams are proactive in the development of both staff & service and are committed to CPD providing regular Multi-Disciplinary IST and specialist uni-disciplinary support & education with regular supervision.

Your role as a Band 6 in these clinical areas will include an active involvement in the development of the acute services, supervision of junior staff & student education and the opportunity to consolidate knowledge and develop clinical & non-clinical skills within a supportive environment.
