Heart and Lung Division

REGISTERED NURSE BAND 5 Fixed Term/Secondment for 6 months - full time or part time

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to join our team of in-patient cardiac rehabilitation nurses for up to 6 months. We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible individual to join our team.   The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, good time management, be able to work well under pressure both within a team and independently.

Summary of most important Experience/Skills/Qualifications required: • Registered Nurse with relevant cardiology experience • Understanding of NSF for CHD

  • Clinical Governance awareness. • Demonstrate leadership skills. • Clinical assessment skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Negotiation / influencing skills

To assist the Trust in reducing healthcare associated infections you should become familiar with the Trust’s Hand Decontamination Policy, attend mandatory induction training and be compliant with all hand hygiene standards at all times.
