We are also the lead provider for a significant number of specialised services including Breast Care, Vascular, Cardiac, Respiratory, Urology Cancer, Paediatrics, Women’s Services, Ophthalmology and Genomic Medicine.

Our vision is to improve the health and quality of life of our diverse population by building an organisation that:

  • Excels in quality, safety, patient experience, research, innovation and teaching
  • Attracts, develops and retains great people
  • Is recognised internationally as a leading healthcare provider

Do you have a passion for community nursing?

Are you newly qualified or looking for a new challenge?

We have an exciting opportunity for you to work in some of the most vibrant and culturally diverse areas across Central Manchester. You will be working with the newly formed Manchester Local Care Organisation which brings teams of health and care professionals together in local neighbourhoods.  You will be joining the well-established, dynamic and proactive district nursing team.

We are at the forefront of community nursing, bridging the gap between hospital and home care by offering acute care at home.

You will be offered a three month induction programme and a twelve month preceptorship with ongoing support.

This is a fabulous opportunity offering career development including mentorship, nurse prescribing and Community Specialist Practitioner courses. Flexible hours, school hours for treatment room and part time hours negotiable.

The Manchester Local Care Organisation are proud that we care for our staff as much as our patients and we would welcome pre interview visits to meet the teams.
