Are you looking for an interesting and challenging job in a top teaching hospital, working as part of our friendly and supportive dietetic team?  We are looking for an experienced Dietitian to join our team at Wythenshawe Hospital. 

The post requires an experienced, innovative, self-motivated person to deliver dietetic service to both in-patient and outpatients.  Previous Diabetes experience is essential, the post being predominately based in the Diabetes Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital. Experience of  and/or training in DAFNE would be advantageous. There will be an opportunity to provide some in-patient services so previous experience in an acute hospital setting would be desirable.

You should have excellent organisational and communication skills, and be prepared to work flexibly in line with service modernisation.

As a teaching hospital enthusiasm to implement training of Dietitians, students and nursing staff is paramount. Currently we provide A and C placement training for dietetic students.

The overall dietetic service is approx. 25 WTE Dietitians with administrative and dietetic assistant support.
