We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced speech and language therapist to join our established Early Supported Discharge service at Trafford General Hospital. The post will form part of a multidisciplinary team working to facilitate the rehabilitation of people after acute stroke within their own home.  Close working with colleagues in the inpatient Stroke Unit will provide opportunities for in-reach work to reduce length of stay and ensure continuity of the speech and language therapy care pathway.

The successful applicant will be competent in the assessment and treatment of acquired dysphagia and communication disorders and have an interest in stroke rehabilitation.   They will need to be well-organised and flexible to the needs of our patients and the ESD team.  You must be an enthusiastic and experienced team member who is competent in dysphagia management, have evidence of dysphagia competencies

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
