An opportunity has arisen within the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust for TWO Band 7 Estates Officers, one with an ELECTRICAL bias and one with a MECHANICAL bias, to join the Estates team of Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham (WTWA) sites. Both positions will be based at Trafford Hospital.

You will be responsible for managing engineering, building & fabric planned and reactive maintenance schedules with directly employed and contracted staff to meet with statutory and mandatory requirements, using the best possible business and working practices.

You will deputise for the TWA Deputy Estates Manager, representing the Deputy Estates Manager at meetings and during periods of absence on holiday.

Following suitable training you will be required to perform the duties of Authorised Person. You may also be required to participate in the engineers’ on-call rota system. (This will be discussed at interview).

Relevant experience in Estates Management and experience of working in an Acute Hospital environment or similar establishment is essential.
