An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated nurses to join our team on Ward 6 at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. 

Ward 6 is a 26 bedded general medical ward caring for patients with a wide range of conditions. We specialise in endocrinology and Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression. Our team are passionate about delivering a high quality standard of care and ensuring that the patients have an excellent experience during their stay in hospital.

Ward 6 are looking for highly motivated and committed Band 5 Staff Nurses to work within the team, we work closely with various teams within the hospital such as the Acute oncology team, Specialist Palliative care team as well as the Diabetes specialist nurses. We welcome applicants with an interest within this specialty.

The ward 6 team pride themselves on their commitment to providing a high quality of care from their existing motivated and passionate team.
We require enthusiastic individuals with a can do attitude who have the ability to work within our friendly ward team. They must be as passionate as we are in getting things right first time every time. 


Commitment to undertake ongoing in-service training and development is essential. You should be motivated, keen to learn and ready to embrace change. Our commitment to you is to provide the environment for this to happen and ensure that you are part of our defined preceptorship programme.
