We’re looking for Clinical and Environmental Assistants with Care Support Services NVQ Level 2 qualification although we would also welcome applications from those who are willing to undertake this training to become qualified. This is a key role in which you will be involved with specific aspects of a busy Critical Care environment with a focus on supporting the nursing team to deliver high quality care to our medical and surgical patients.

Successful candidates will be based within the Adult General Intensive Care, High Dependency or High Care at Trafford Hospital you will enjoy working with a motivated, innovative and dynamic team who are committed to delivering the best possible care to our patients.

The apprenticeship programme is fully funded by the Trust and consists of a 12 month programme of intensive training in order to prepare you for the role of a qualified Clinical and Environmental Assistant. On successful completion of the programme you will have attained a level 2 diploma in Care Support Services, which consists of achievement of an NVQ (now known as QCF diploma), a BTEC certificate and level 1 or 2 in English and Maths (equivalent to 5 GCSE’s).
