If you want to make a greater impact in Immunology, it’s all here for you at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). You’ll have the resources of one of the UK’s largest laboratory services at Greater Manchester Immunology Service (GMIS). You’ll help shape ground-breaking research as well as vital local and regional services.

As our Laboratory Manager in Immunology, you’ll oversee a breath-taking range of research, and make sure clinical work is delivered efficiently and effectively. Naturally, there are standards to meet and exceed. But there’s more to this than day-to-day management. We’ll look for you to be a force for innovation that ensures the laboratory evolves with the needs of the Trust and stays at the forefront of the field.

This calls for a HCPC-Registered expert and Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences (or equivalent qualification). With a wealth of technical immunology knowledge and experience, you’ll have a deep understanding of what makes an exceptional pathology service, and be up-to-date on modern governance and ISO standards. Most importantly, you’ll bring an approachable management style that inspires the best from your team and everyone you meet.

Join us at our open day on the 9th October 2018, between 3pm – 7pm at The Nowgen Centre, Manchester, and discover the Biomedical Science opportunities we can offer you across our specialist services. If you're interested in attending please register your interest by emailing to confirm your attendance.
