An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with experience and knowledge of colorectal cancer to join our  Macmillan colorectal Cancer Nursing team at Wythenshawe hospital. The post holder will provide clinical expertise and support to patients with colorectal cancer and their families from diagnosis, through investigations, treatments, living with cancer and palliation.

You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels, have an understanding of managing a caseload and effective teamwork, demonstrate a knowledge of colorectal cancer diagnosis and treatments, and understand the implementation of the recovery package.

In addition, the post holder will participate in audit and research and provide teaching, education and support to healthcare professionals. The post holder will also have involvement in representing the trust as required at local and national level in relation to the colorectal cancer agenda.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
