Whether you’re a Student Nurse, an experienced Staff Nurse or looking to return to the profession, Trafford Hospital within Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) has just the job for you. That’s because, right now, we’re looking to recruit a number of nurses across our wards.

Join us and you’ll have the opportunity to work across our ward areas on an exciting rotational programme. At Trafford you have all the benefits of a large University Hospital in a small friendly environment. Trafford is an ideal place to start your career.

You may be an experienced Nurse looking for a change of specialty and a rotation may help you decide.    Urgent Care Centre, Acute Medical Unit, Acute Medical Ward, Continuing Care, Fragility Fracture Rehabilitation, Neurological Rehabilitation and Stroke Rehabilitation are all possibilities - there are endless opportunities to develop your skills, knowledge and experience in this field. Twelve or 18 month rotations are available. You will have a permanent post in an area of your choice on completion.

To succeed, you’ll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.

For newly qualified nurses the Trust has a robust preceptorship programme and you will receive excellent opportunities for development. Along the way, you will be supported by in-house Clinical Educators and strong nurse leaders who will oversee your training needs, supported by the wider divisional education team.

In return for your skills, enthusiasm and commitment, you can expect a truly excellent comprehensive induction programme whilst being part of a fantastic and dedicated team that supports each other and operates with consideration and dignity at all times.

It really is a great chance to join a go-ahead Trust that has an integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus with state-of-the-art facilities right in the heart of Manchester. As well as offering a diverse range of services to over a million patients a year, our specialist hospitals have a real community feel and are home to hundreds of world-class clinicians and academic staff.

MFT is committed to promoting equality of opportunity, celebrating and valuing diversity and eliminating any form of unlawful discrimination across our workforce, ensuring our people are truly representative of the communities we serve.
