From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. 

Our new organisation will provide a single hospital service across the city of Manchester and in 12- 18 months will also include the services currently provided by North Manchester General Hospital.  These changes will make a real difference to the health outcomes and quality of life for the people of Manchester.  That’s why this really is an extremely exciting and challenging period in the delivery of health and social care in Greater Manchester and one that provides a wealth career opportunities for great people right across our Group. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated nurses to join our team on Ward 7 at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Ward 7 is a 27 bedded general medical ward caring for patients with a wide range of conditions. We also specialise in endocrinology and Metastatic Spinal Cord Compression. Our team are passionate about delivering a high quality standard of care and ensuring that the patients have an excellent experience during their stay in hospital.

We are looking for committed and highly motivated staff nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional standards of care and who take pride in quality care they deliver to their patients.

In return you will be supported by continuous professional development and have access to numerous courses through the education department. Regular personal development reviews and the opportunity to teach colleagues, through link nursing for an area of your interest.
