Right now, we are seeking a new Divisional Director to join our Obstetrics service that is provided across Saint Mary’s Hospital Managed Clinical Service.

 

In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for the direct delivery of all patient services within the Division of Obstetrics. From quality of services and service improvements to waiting lists and finances, you’ll see that we achieve our operational performance targets and deliver for patients. Forging strong relationships across the Trust, you’ll ensure we make a positive difference to the local health and social care economy.

 

This is a post with a wide range of responsibilities. Managing all services in your Division, you’ll ensure that we develop and maintain the very highest standards. If there’s any kind of urgent issue, you’ll step in to resolve it. Crucially, you will be at the forefront of change - from implementing agreed changes to enhance capacity, efficiency and performance, through to identifying and driving service improvements and reconfigurations with transformational impact.

 

To be equal to the challenge, you’ll need a successful and relevant track record as a senior manager of clinical services within an NHS organisation. Your experience spans the effective management of people, finances and change, along with a proven ability to consistently achieve targets. As important as your ability to develop creative solutions and shape the future of services will be your ability to bring staff with you on the journey. It’s your collaborative spirit, political astuteness, and excellent communication and influencing skills that make that possible.
