It’s all here for you. World-class specialist Pharmacy and Medicine Optimisation services in an integrated health, teaching, research and innovation campus. Training and opportunities only England’s largest NHS Trust can offer.

Everything you need is here at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT).

The Unit provides a number of services and looks after 11 clean rooms, including a Gene Therapy Suite focused on Neonatal, Paediatric & Adult PN, Adult & Paediatric Chemotherapy, CIVAS activities and Clinical Trials.

It’s a role that will see you supervise a team of Technicians as they supply aseptically prepared products and services. You will be supported to develop your leadership skills through our in house training courses, and get involved in the day-to-day delivery of your services, working with us as we strive to deliver exceptional care to our local population and those who travel from further afield to access our specialist services.

Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), you’ll have completed Leeds University’s short Aseptic Preparation of Medicines course, along with Pharmacy Services (Level 3) and Aseptic Services BTECs (or equivalents).

As we provide a 24hr service flexibility across evenings and weekends is required. However, it’s your post qualification experience that will mark you out. Accurate, calm under pressure and passionate about detail; everything you do will contribute to ever-more effective patient care.

Join us at our open day on the 9th October, between 3pm – 7pm at The Nowgen Centre, Manchester, and discover our Pharmacy opportunities we can offer you across our specialist services. If you're interested in attending please register your interest by contacting Hilary Hopkins in the Pharmacy department on 0161 701 2094
