From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Based at the Central Site the Pharmacy Department currently has a number of teams, working innovatively to provide services to the patients.  You will be working in an Aseptic Services Unit with 11 clean rooms including a Gene Therapy Suite, which provides Neonatal, Paediatric & Adult PN, Adult & Paediatric Chemotherapy, CIVAS and Clinical Trials.

You will contribute to our ethos of providing a positive, forward thinking and professional working environment in which staff work with each other and for each other.  As a valued member of the team you will be supported to develop your knowledge of aseptic services to progress in your career.

You must be able to work accurately, quickly and under pressure, have a good eye for detail, be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and be committed to deliver a high standard patient focused service. Our department has a genuine good balance of professionalism, friendliness and a healthy attitude to "getting the job done".

This role is Full time; to include a 1 in 5 Saturday working, there will be a requirement to participate in extended hours working including late nights, weekend and bank holidays on a rotational basis.

In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.
