From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. 

Our new organisation will provide a single hospital service across the city of Manchester and in 12- 18 months will also include the services currently provided by North Manchester General Hospital.  These changes will make a real difference to the health outcomes and quality of life for the people of Manchester.  That’s why this really is an extremely exciting and challenging period in the delivery of health and social care in Greater Manchester and one that provides a wealth career opportunities for great people right across our Group. 

Job Purpose

To provide a comprehensive and efficient front line quality Oracle Procurement /Supplies Support Service to all Trust Departments via means of a help desk function.

Being responsible for the Auto Creation of electronic orders through out the working day to set departmental timetables. ensuring that where possible all requests are placed against National, Local or Purchasing Hub Contracts.

To provide basis order tracking and delivery information to users of NHS Supply Chain online Ordering.

To assist as required with other duties that are integral to the Supplies function and identified by the Department Head

To provide Main Reception Cover for periods of leave as and when required.
