An exciting opportunity has arisen on The Pulmonary Oncology Unit to become  part of a dynamic and enthusiastic team as a Band 5. The POU is 17 bedded ward primarily nursing Oncology patients at varying stages of their diagnosis.

 We are looking for an efficient, enthusiastic, highly motivated nurse with good interpersonal and communication skills to work in our oncology unit. You will be joining our friendly and dynamic team with excellent standards and great work ethic. You will be supported to develop into the band 5 role through preceptor-ship, peer support and an exciting range of educational opportunities. We have a full and part time post available. 

We also have opportunities to rotate six monthly within the other specialist chest wards if you wish to broaden your horizons! Opportunities include a ventilation unit, respiratory , cystic fibrosis among others.

The service is staffed from across many professions and includes consultants and their teams, ward managers and their nursing teams, specialist nurses, palliative team, physiotherapy, respiratory physiology and other allied health professionals.
