Respiratory Directorate We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sister/Charge Nurse, to work on Ward A7. You will be expected to support the ward manager to improve standards, training and improve patient experience. A7 is a 28 bedded ward which has both acutely ill respiratory and gastroenterology patients.

 You should have excellent clinical decision making skills, and be able to respond to the demanding nature of complex respiratory and gastroenterology health problems as well as patient-flow issues.

You will need to be a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years post registration experience (with evidence of post registered professional development) in order to offer supportive and quality leadership to junior staff. Essential behaviours are that of communication skills (especially assertiveness and decision-making), some acute- respiratory experience and a thorough knowledge of the admission/discharge process would be desirable. We want motivated compassionate people willing to learn new skills and respond positively to changes within the service needs and for patient experience You will have the support of the Ward Manager and Matron to help develop you in this role and develop with our expanding directorate.
