From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide comprehensive administrative support for TB services in the department of Respiratory Medicine.

This post is 12 month temporary contract to cover maternity leave.

You must have good all round administration skills, excellent personal and communication skills with customer service experience and be computer literate with a working knowledge of MS Office. You will have attention to detail and the ability to prioritise incoming work so as to meet deadlines. With a strong emphasis on customer service, you will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with people at all levels.

You will play an essential role within the team, helping to maintain standards and improve the service for the benefit of patients and clinical teams. You will be willing to adapt to change and learn new skills, having a good knowledge of NHS office procedures, together with organisational and communication skills, delivering high quality administrative services and customer care. Your duties will include typing clinical correspondence, dealing with patient enquiries, co-ordinating clinics, appointments and tests.

In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.
