Staff Nurse – Specialist Medicine Division - Rotational Programme - Band 5

Are you an ambitious Registered Adult Nurse or Student Nurse? If that’s you, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust has just the job. That’s because, right now, we’re looking to recruit a number of Adult Nurses for our Rotational Programme in Specialist Medicine Division at Manchester Royal Infirmary.

It really is a unique opportunity to gain a breadth of skills and experience that will set you up for life in your nursing career. How? Because, even if you're unsure which area you want to specialise in, you will have the opportunity to embark on a fascinating 18 month rotational programme consisting of three, six month placements in Gastroenterology, Cardiology and Renal. Along the way, you’ll be supported by in-house Educational Practitioners and strong nurse leaders.

  • The Manchester Heart Centre – encompassing a Cardiology and Cardiac surgery ward, Wards 3 and 4.
  • The Renal Centre – two acute in-patient wards for patients with renal diseases,Wards 36 and 37.
  • Gastroenterology Unit - encompassing two acute wards, AM3 and AM4.
