Whether you’re a student nurse or already qualified and looking to return to the profession, Trafford Hospital within Central Manchester Foundation Trust has just the job. That’s because, right now, we’re looking to recruit a number of nurses across our Stroke Rehabilitation Unit.

Join us and you’ll have the opportunity to work in our 18 bedded District Stroke Rehabilitation Unit. The ward has some great accolades including gold accreditation, and best district stroke unit in Greater Manchester.

Specialising in complex stroke rehabilitation working in collaboration with the hyper acute unit at Salford Royal Foundation Trust. You will have the benefit of working in a multi-professional team including specialist nurse and therapeutic activity coordinator, so there are endless opportunities to develop your skills, knowledge and experience in this field.

To succeed, you’ll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.

For newly qualified nurses the Trust has a robust preceptorship programme and you will receive excellent opportunities for development. Along the way, you will be supported by in-house Clinical Educators and the stroke nurse specialist who will oversee your training needs, supported by the wider divisional education team.
