Are you highly motivated, dynamic and looking to make a real difference to patient and staff experience? Are you able to inspire and motivate teams?

This offers an exciting opportunity to work across a number of surgical specialities, including pre op, outpatients, inpatient ward, day case and theatres; many of which have experienced significant organisational change in the last 5 years and now since the formation of Manchester Foundation Trust as part of Wythenshawe, Trafford Altrincham and Withington (WTWA) group. This offers an excellent opportunity for an existing Matron or experienced Ward Manager to extend their portfolio of experience.

Delivery of excellence in patient care and nursing workforce development are key priorities for this role, maximising the nursing contribution and continuously improving the patient and service user experience. We aim to deliver ‘best in class’ for our patients and strive to become an employer of choice for staff.

The successful candidate will have significant senior nursing experience, display excellent communication skills, be highly motivated and passionate and able to evidence involvement in high impact change and delivery of key nursing outcomes. This is an important post within the senior nursing team, contributing to the future strategic direction of the nursing workforce.

Professional development and investment in this key leadership role will be seen as a priority, with a bespoke programme designed to meet the needs of the successful candidate.
