Transformation Delivery Manager – Band 8A

18-month fixed term / secondment


With the creation of Manchester University Foundation Trust (MFT), the launch of Manchester’s Local Care Organisation and the opportunities available following devolution it has never been a more exciting time for the NHS across Manchester.  


The Transformation team works across MFT to deliver operational excellence, support a culture of quality improvement, build capability for improvement across the organisation and oversee the delivery of a large-scale integration programmes that will deliver the benefits of the single hospital service for Manchester. 


As Delivery Manager you will have the opportunity to work alongside the hospital teams to ensure effective leadership and coordination of projects that will be delivering real benefits for patients. You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio covering all aspects of Transformation.


This role requires someone who is patient focused and an ambassador for improvement with experience of working autonomously and taking responsibility for the delivery of change programmes.  Knowledge of working in an acute hospital setting and experience in an operational role is desirable but not essential.

Please note that the Transformation Team work across all MFT sites therefore flexibility is important and there will be some requirement to travel between sites.
