From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. 

Our new organisation will provide a single hospital service across the city of Manchester and in 12- 18 months will also include the services currently provided by North Manchester General Hospital.  These changes will make a real difference to the health outcomes and quality of life for the people of Manchester.  That’s why this really is an extremely exciting and challenging period in the delivery of health and social care in Greater Manchester and one that provides a wealth career opportunities for great people right across our Group. 

An opportunity has arisen within the Chorlton,Whalley Range and Fallowfield District nursing team for a Band 5 treatment room/community nurse.

Treatment room care is currently being reviewed and standardised across the four Integrated teams within Central Manchester. The post will be based primarily in the treatment room with community visits scheduled outside of clinic times.

We are committed to providing a quality service and continuity of care in our treatment room. We need an enthusiastic, dynamic and caring community nurse to join our team. The successful applicant will be supported by the Band 7 team leaders and Treatment room lead. Regular supervision, appraisal and training will be provided.

The post holder should have an interest in leg ulcer/wound care and be aware of evidence based practice to optimise care.

The post is full time but we can be flexible with hours and will consider part time or job share applications.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
