MANCHESTER UNIVERSITY NHS FOUNDATION TRUST

SALARIED GENERAL PRACTITIONER POST (FULL OR PART TIME)

URGENT CARE SERVICES

  • Applications are invited to work with us as part of Manchester Foundation Trust’s Urgent Care Team. The Salaried General Practitioner (GP) will be a key member of Urgent Care Services providing primary medical services to patients accessing the walk in centre. The service supports patients with minor illnesses and minor injuries who do not require urgent diagnostics (bloods, ECG, x-ray), together with patients that are unable to access their own GP. Our rationale is to improve patient experience while maintaining patient safety, and ensure the patient is seen in the most appropriate clinical area

This post is permanent and part time or job share will be considered as a preferred option.

Salary will be on the 8C – 8D pay scale which ranges from £54,454 to £80,810 (pro rata) per annum depending upon experience as per Model BMA contract.

This post includes protected Continuing Professional Development opportunities within your role to ensure that your professional needs are met.

Informal enquiries should be directed to Dr Rosemary Morton, Clinical Director

(0161 276 5965 – Gemma Chadwick, Dr Morton’s PA)

The successful candidate will be required to apply for an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure.
