We are looking for highly motivated, caring and compassionate individual to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team to maintain our quality service. We are a busy children's outpatient department welcoming over 160,000 patients per year. We operate Monday to Saturday including evenings. We provide the support to all specialities within the Children's hospital, ensuring that clinics run smoothly and staff have the appropriate skills required. The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital provides specialist healthcare services for children and young people throughout the North West, as well as nationally and internationally. You will work primarily within Outpatients, however, there may be occasions when there is a requirement to redistribute staff within the hospital to ensure all areas are covered, this post will contribute to this work as per all other nursing posts in Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. We are looking for candidates who are qualified to NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care.

To excel in the role you will have: - Experience of working in health care or related setting - Experience of working with Children/young people - The ability to communicate accurately and effectively with patients/parents and    colleagues both verbally and written - Good standard of written and spoken English - Ability to carry out administrative and clerical duties appropriate to the work area In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and opportunities to train in paediatric venepuncture. You will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing further knowledge and skills where appropriate.
