From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

We are seeking to appoint a committed Consultant Cytopathologist/Histopathologist to join our experienced and highly motivated team at Manchester Royal infirmary.  This replacement post will be at least 50% non-gynaecological cytopathology with contribution to one or more sub-specialist areas in Adult Histopathology.  This is intended as a full time post but candidates who wish to work part time will be eligible to be considered for the post.  In the event of the latter, job content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with departmental consultant colleagues.

 

Applicants should hold the FRCPath or an equivalent qualification.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
