From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. 

Our new organisation will provide a single hospital service across the city of Manchester and in 12- 18 months will also include the services currently provided by North Manchester General Hospital.  These changes will make a real difference to the health outcomes and quality of life for the people of Manchester.  That’s why this really is an extremely exciting and challenging period in the delivery of health and social care in Greater Manchester and one that provides a wealth career opportunities for great people right across our Group. 

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is the leading Trust for teaching, research and specialist services in the North West of England.

You will be an integral part of the service committed to providing high quality care to the diverse population we serve. Community services are in the process of integrating with social care colleagues and are working towards co-location and new ways of working. We are looking for someone who is innovative, enthusiastic and able to support colleagues through changing working practices whilst maintaining high clinical standards.

These are exciting times working in the diverse and unique community setting within the devolution Manchester agenda. You will be able to contribute to the development of future integrated community care delivery in central Manchester within the newly formed MFT organisation

This is a full time post but we will consider flexible working and part time applicants.

We offer a comprehensive induction programme and you will have appraisals on a regular basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.
