From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

9 month secondment opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly motivated physiotherapist within the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy team based at Trafford General Hospital.

You should have significant musculoskeletal and rheumatology experience at Band 6 level and should be able to demonstrate a special interest and evidence of post graduate training in this specialty. The post is based at Trafford General Hospital but will also involve working at Altrincham General Hospital.

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is the leading Trust for teaching, research and specialist services in the North West of England.

You will be expected to work well within a team and provide high quality clinical care in line with national, regional and local guidance based on evidence based practice. You will contribute to day-to day management of the department and be expected to contribute to training and service development.  

The team is actively involved in audit, research and service improvement.

In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate.
