From 1st October 2017, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) and the University Hospital of South Manchester NHS Foundation Trust (UHSM) has joined together to create a new Foundation Trust which has been named Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust.

Whether you’re a student nurse or already qualified and looking to return to the profession, Trafford Hospital has just the job. That’s because, right now, we’re looking to recruit a number of nurses across our Neurological Rehabilitation Unit.

Join us and you’ll have the opportunity to work in our regional 30 bedded Centre for Neurological Rehabilitation. The ward has some great accolades including silver accreditation, and nomination for a team Proud of You Award.

Specialising in complex neurological rehabilitation such as managing acquired brain injury, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease. You will have the benefit of working in a multi-professional team including psychologists, specialist nurse and therapeutic activity coordinator, so there are endless opportunities to develop your skills, knowledge and experience in this field.

To succeed, you’ll need to be committed to delivering high quality, patient focused care with pride and respect, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to provide evidence of personal and professional development.

For newly qualified nurses the Trust has a robust preceptorship programme and you will receive excellent opportunities for development. Along the way, you will be supported by in-house Clinical Educators and strong nurse leaders who will oversee your training needs, supported by the wider divisional education team.
