Salford CAMHS team is excited to be looking for a new Senior Practitioner / Community Link Lead, to join our busy and dynamic multidisciplinary team. As an "outstanding" CAMH service, we are keen to invite candidates who are committed to help us maintain our status and develop the service to be the most effective, efficient, and responsive to local needs we can be. This is a newly created post to help build our community links with the 3rd sector, health and social care providers as part of the, I -Thrive principles of delivery.

You will take a lead in developing and enhancing our are single point of access, offering consolation, advice and signposting to a range of professionals, and being part of our duty team to ensure Salford CAMHS are meeting the needs of children and young people in need of more urgent support.

The team is a supportive and diverse team, who work well and provide high quality services; therefore we are looking for candidates with:-

- A high level of enthusiasm and dedication to providing quality, community based CAMHS intervention services to children, young people and their families.
- Experience of working with a wide range of professionals and services offering consultation, mental health advice and support.
- Experience of working with children, young people and families / carers within the community.
- Practical experience of carrying out assessment, formulation and developing care plans (including Risk).
- Training / experience of providing evidence based therapeutic Interventions.
- Knowledge skills and experience of being part of a daily Duty Rota for in hours (9-5) risk assessments.
- Ability to provide same day robust risk assessments, formulation and the development of appropriate risk management plans.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience of working with multi-agency teams.
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently, whilst also be willing to be a team player share your skills and encourage others.
