We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated secretary to join our Plastic Surgery Department based at Wythenshawe Hospital. You will be responsible for providing secretarial support to consultants and their teams; including typing, tracking of medical records in and out of the department, photocopying, adhering to referral processes, booking of patient appointments and other general administration and secretarial duties.

You must have good computer skills with excellent typing ability; be hard working, possess good oral and written communication skills and be flexible to the needs of the department. Previous secretarial experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, would be desirable. This post is varied and extremely busy and we therefore seek a pro-active, self-motivated person with good communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
