Excellent opportunity for SpR level training; Senior Clinical Fellow in Uro–Oncology (replace an existing specialist Registrar job) at The Christie and Manchester University NHSFT (Wythenshawe site)

Applications are invited for the above post in Uro-oncological surgery. We are looking to recruit a dedicated senior urological oncology Clinical Fellow for a period of 6 months (starting on 1st Feb 2019). This opening has arisen from the current final year specialist registrar getting a Consultant job and hence has the same time table as the existing specialist trainee job. The successful candidate will join a Team of Urological Oncological Surgeons and work in the largest cancer Hospital in the UK; The Christie and Wythenshawe Hospital (part of MFT).

We are a specialist Uro-oncology department receiving referrals from within and outside our network and are known in the UK and abroad for our research and our outcomes. The departments across The Christie and Wythenshawe site offers experience in all types of Renal Cancer Surgery (including caval surgery). Robotic Surgery (including: console time as per training), Complex pelvic (including: radical cystectomy) and Retroperitoneal surgery. There are opportunities to learn penile cancer surgery if desired. You will have excellent exposure to gain exposure / training in these and other general urological operations. You will be part of the team involved in delivering excellent care to the patients.
