Clinical Audit Facilitator (22.5 hours per week)

Working within the Specialist Palliative Care Team at Wythenshawe Hospital is exciting and challenging as it strives to assist clinical staff in assuring and improving the quality of care provided to patients.

You will work with clinical staff to examine aspects of care provided to patients to assess whether the care provided meets with accepted standards and to identify any areas where the quality of care can be improved. This is a project management role, with the candidate supporting many clinical audit projects undertaken by clinicians in various roles.

The post involves designing audit tools, analysing/presenting producing reports as well as helping to organise the annual programme of clinical audit.

You should have a clear understanding of the clinical audit process with the ability to identify standards from a range of literature, and be confident in using Microsoft office tools. Experience of training and databases is also an advantage.

We are looking for a logical thinker who has excellent communication skills and the ability to translate ideas into achievable clinical audit projects. Attention to detail and report writing skills are essential for this post.
